Now Smell the Flora by Gucci

Posted by Geeky at 9:41 AM

I am the girl who seldom use Fragrance, while I am totally attracted by the news about Gucci’s newly released Flora. New fragrance by the house of Gucci, named Flora by Gucci, aims at young customers and it was inspired by a floral motive.

Flora by Gucci
Flora is the second Gucci women’s scent, following Gucci by Gucci, created under Giannini’s creative reign at the Florentine fashion house. Flora is aimed at a younger customer. Comparing the scents, Giannini said Gucci by Gucci channeled the powerful Gucci woman, while Flora addresses a sensual, younger woman.Perfume Flora by Gucci opens the door to new creations by the house of Gucci, which are being planned for younger audience.

As far as I concerned, in order to create a bottle for Flora, designers of the house of Giannini built on architectural structure of Gucci by Gucci bottle by giving geometric shape of hexagon to the new edition, while champagne nuance was chosen as colour of fluid.

The black-and-white Flora print is featured on the scent’s packaging, but Giannini also printed it onto a butterfly-like long silk chiffon gown worn by Australian model Abbey Lee in the scent’s advertising campaign. Shot by Chris Cunningham in a cornfield in Latvia, Lee is depicted in the middle of more than 40,000 silk flowers moving in tempo with the wind to the tune of an original remix of Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love.” Inez & Vinoodh photographed Flora’s print advertising visuals.

Perfume Flora by Gucci has arrived on the market in April 2009 and is available as 30, 50 and 75 ml EDT, as well as 100 ml deodorant, 200 ml perfumed body lotion and 200 ml perfumed body bath.
